I guess I’m moving out of my summer job dorm room in a few days so I finally got around to taking some pictures…
I’m really really proud of this because I have often struggled to keep my space clean and organized. I made a point this summer of decorating and making sure all my things had a place to belong, and this allowed me to feel good about my space and care about keeping it nice and clean and organized.
This made my room feel like a place I actually belonged and could recharge. I didn’t feel guilty every time I was in my room. I felt comfortable sharing it with others to hang out.
This was kind of hard to practice but I made it work and I’m hopeful about being able to continue it in my new long term apartment.
Certain words can change your brain forever and ever so you do have to be very careful about it.
